You may have asked yourself, “What is an ARMA buck and why would I want one?” An ARMA buck
is your ticket to fabulous prizes auctioned off each year during the annual awards banquet and ARMA auction.
Earning ARMA bucks is easy. In fact, you get a thousand just for coming to the
auction. You can earn additional bucks the night of the event for donating prizes or securing donations from local businesses. Soliciting or donating a prize worth up to $50 will be rewarded with five
hundred ARMA Bucks. You can earn an additional five hundred ARMA bucks for each $100 of additional solicited or donated items (maximum of two thousand ARMA Bucks for donating). You can also earn ARMA
bucks by attending monthly meetings, bringing a guest, writing articles for our newsletter, being a board member, attending the national conference, recruiting new members, and more. You can find a complete
list of ways to earn ARMA bucks in every newsletter. A running total of earned ARMA bucks are provided for you in each newsletter also.
What kind of prizes have we had in the past and what should I try to secure? Golf outings, hotel accommodations, cash prizes, gift
certificates, lawn equipment, electronics, home décor, jewelry, dinner certificates, and more have turned us into bidding machines.
